Pampered & Polished is a nail polish, beauty and occasional fashion blog, written by myself (Emma) and Sarah, with the occasional post by AndyLou, one of the original members of Pampered & Polished…

The story of how Pampered & Polished came about is below… but we’ve had a few wee changes since then… Emma has moved back to her homeland of NZ, AndyLou has run a marathon, got married and started a new job and our lovely friend Sarah has also joined us to write about all her favourite products and to let you know about all the UK based launches and trends!

A minor ‘disagreement’ with my lovely boyfriend ended with me counting the number of nail polishes I own, random I know, but the story is just too boring to elaborate! The short version is that it inspired me to start this nail polish blog.

I discovered somewhat shockingly that I own over 80 different nail polishes! I do wear nail polish everyday, I just can’t seem to bring myself to have nude nails (even nude polish won’t really cut it for me), but even to me over 80 nail polishes seemed a bit excessive…. so I decided to use my nail polish obsession for good. I am slowly going through and every time I paint my nails I’m going to write a review on this blog, so hopefully someone else can benefit from my buying mistakes (and triumphs!).

I drive my boyfriend mad! I have drawers and cupboards stocked full of different lipsticks, chunky eyeliners, liquid liners, glitter liners, face powders, face creams, highlighters, illuminators, waterproof mascaras, lengthening mascaras, body lotions, body oils… (you get my drift?)…and the list continues. I am like a moth drawn to a flame when it comes to beauty, I just can’t seem to resist.

I am not a makeup expert, but I do love wearing it! love experimenting with new products and trends – and then I love to talk about it! In fact you can’t shut me up which is why I think my friend Emmaasked if I wanted to join her and start blogging about our passion…and so Pampered&Polished was born! (ahhhh)
