Max Factor’s Flipsticks are nifty wee double ended lipsticks that have either two complimentary or two contrasting lipsticks. Today I have Max Factor Flipstick Swingy Brown to show you (I have two others as well, that I will be popping up asap as well!)
Max Factor Swingy Brown has a dark warm brown creme lipstick on one end and a pale shimmery beige lipstick on the other end. The texture of both is lovely and creamy and go on really easily with no dragging. Each lipstick on the Max Factor Flipstick is slightly thinner than a normal size lipstick, so the application is actually very easy.
The dark shade of Swingy Brown is too brown for me – it looks very ’90s!
The idea of the Max Factor Flipstick lipsticks is that you can completely customise your colour by mixing the two shades, but I found with Swingy Brown the dark shade is too dark and completely overpowers the lighter shade.
While Swingy Brown isn’t my cup of tea a couple of the other shades of Flipstick are gorgeous and I’ll show you them asap. I really want to try out the Gipsy Red Flipstick, which has a red lippie on one end and an orange lippie on the other end – just lovely!
You can buy Max Factor Flipsticks online or instore at Boots and they cost £8.49 each
