Living in London, it’s pretty difficult to not realise the Olympics are just around the corner. Not being into sports, I’ve found another way to show my support – with OPI Olympic Finalists nail polish!
Why not show your support for team GB and paint your nails with shades fit for Champions! The 3 winning metallic shades are (L-R) OPI Brisbane Bronze, OPI DS Radiance and OPI Glitzerland.
OPI Brisbane Bronze is from OPI’s Australia Collection and is a golden shimmery brown shade. It gives good coverage and the sparkly is quite subtle. It isn’t my favourite of the 3 Olympic themed shades, as I prefer something a little brighter, but nonetheless a great metallic shade.
OPI DS Radiance is brilliant silver metallic shade. It goes on really easily and only requires 2 coats to give the coverage in the pic below. The result is a bright shiny and shimmery finish, and really looks like molten silver! I’m very impressed with this shade and whilst I obviously hope we win lots of golds in the 2012 games…I think I’ll be sticking to the silver polish!
OPI Glitzerland is an opaque metallic golden shade. I’ve tested this shade before as a bridal/wedding nail polish. It’s a fab colour and although needs 3 coats not to appear streaky, gives a classy and subtle finish.
OPI polishes can be bought online at Lena White.
