I showed you pictures of the custom Minx for Jean Paul Gaultier’s Diet Coke corset bottle launch and now I have pictures and a video of the live body art installation at the launch of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Night & Day collection for Diet Coke, that took place in the window of Harvey Nichols in London.
Award-winning body artist Carolyn Roper totally transformed two models by painting them with intricately applied luxe lace and sailor stripes, reflecting Gaultier’s use of his signature style in the designer Night & Day collection for Diet Coke.
Jean Paul Gaultier said of the new Diet Coke bottles;
“The brand asked me to explore its fun personality and to style the bottle. I want to show people the codes and signatures I love. The bottles have the shape of a woman’s body, so it was great fun to ‘dress’ them. The Diet Coke motif is so beautiful I had to design around this. The finishing touch was to apply my logo to the bottle, like applying a fragile stamp – making it something special you want to touch”.

The limited edition Jean Paul Gaultier Night & Day bottle collection for Diet Coke will launch in Harvey Nichols stores across the UK from 16 April 2012 for 4 weeks and cost £1.95 each.
