Ok so it’s no secret what huge fans of OPI nail polish we are over at Pampered and Polished – and so you can imagine we were just a teeny tiny bit delighted to be invited to the launch of the new Spring / Summer 2012 Holland Collection by OPI last week at the gorgeous luxury hotel in London, Claridge’s. It was a real arm twister!!!
So OPI describe this collection as ‘colour with a touch of Dutch’. In the short form this is just one very beautiful collection of nail polishes. I honestly LOVE it. Ask me to pick a favourite and I would struggle… well actually it is Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, but more about that later.
The launch event had the twelve colours in the collection displayed with clogs, windmills and even a cheeky red light window. It was cute, it was fun and it was absolutely gorgeous.
The twelve colours in the OPI Holland collection are:
Red Lights Ahead… Where?
The stand out show stopper of the collection, RED-HOT coral
A Roll in The Hague
A frisky orange. Just enough red in it though to keep it chic and classy
Gouda Gouda Two Shoes
Ahhhhh my favourite!!! I don’t know why out of all these amazing colours I seem to be drawn to this rosy little number. But its classy, it’s warming and there is just enough hint of shimmer and sparkle to take you into the party season
Wooden Shoe Like to Know?
What a fab name! And so is this chocolate brown shade
Pedal Faster Suzi!
Candy pink with a subtle shimmer
Kiss Me on My Tulips
Juicy and utterly kissable fuchsia pink
Dutch Ya Just Love OPI?
Yes we do, especially when a colour is as great as this. Easily my second favourite. It’s a deep and dark aubergine, with a subtle petrol style swirl
Did You ‘ear About Van Gogh?
A neutral light greige. Ok so on paper this sounds boring, but in reality I think this could be a real winner.
Thanks a Wind Million
Breezy sea green
I Don’t Give a Rotterdam
its sassy, its steal-blue with a gentle silver glitter to get the party started
I Have a Herring Problem
This is like the sea in a bottle. A beautiful shimmery blue-green.
As you may have guessed I absolutely adore this collection. I would go as far as to say it’s my favourite so far.
The OPI Holland collection is out in February 2012 with individual shades priced at £11. For more information visit lenawhite.co.uk

i thought they would have repromoted the colour Dutch Tulips with this collection, is it still on the permanent line or did it get discontinued? hope not!
Hell Yeah! Going to get me some of these!
@Patricia – I’m not sure sorry! Let me check with the OPI girls and I’ll let you know.
@Zaggora Girl – I know right! I really want to get A Roll in the Hague.
[...] I’m perfectly honest, I wasn’t as excited about the OPI Spring/ Summer Holland 2012 nail polish collection as I have been about others – I thought it looked pretty enough, but nothing too [...]
[...] Yesterday I told you all about the gorgeous Chanel makeup from the Chanel Autumn/Winter Ready to Wear 2012-2013 Show and I mentioned that I thought the new Chanel Le Vernis nail polish ‘Frenzy’ looked very similar to the polish I am currently wearing; OPI Did You ‘Ear About Van Gogh nail polish from the OPI Holland nail polish collection.
