A couple of weeks ago I got a pedicure and chose the most amazing China Glaze neon nail polish – the beautiful China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise neon. As soon as I got home I raced over to Candy Girl (fab New Zealand nail polish site) and bought 3 China Glaze neon polishes:
- China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise neon nail polish
- China Glaze Rose Among Thorns neon nail polish
- China Glaze Japanese Koi neon nail polish
So… here is China Glaze Japanese Koi neon nail polish – it’s a super bright neon orange nail polish. I have been searching high and low for a neon orange nail polish and YAY I’ve found it.
Neon nail polishes are ridiculously difficult to capture in a pic (well for me they are!), so I’ll include a couple of pics of Japanese Koi so you can get a good idea of the colour. The pic above is taken with no flash in fairly dull daylight and is actually a pretty spot on representation of the amazing orange neon colour.
The pic above is taken with the flash and it shows that the polish is a true orange colour, but the top pic is the best representation of the colour. Like with all neon nail polish, make sure you wear a good topcoat with Japanese Koi otherwise it definitely isn’t as bright as it can be.
This polish does have a tendency to chip a bit… but for this colour I’m willing to re-apply a little more often that I would normally!
I do own one other China Glaze neon nail polish and it’s another one I love! It’s the beautiful neon purple China Glaze Flying Dragon nail polish
