My favourite 2010 and 2011 (so far!) magazine covers

I am more than a little obsessed with magazines, I love them and despite being thoroughly involved in all things online, I really love a good old fashioned glossy magazine! So I thought I’d show you a few of the covers that I’ve seen recently, where the make-up has really tickled my fancy! Doing my day job at a magazine company really doesn’t help my addiction either… (in the interest of disclosure – none of these mags are published by the company I work for btw!)

1. Adele on the cover of Q Magazine

Adele always, always looks stunning whenever she’s in a magazine spread – I really do think she’s just so beautiful and I loved this Q magazine cover with heavy eye make-up, super matte skin and super pale lip, complimented by that gorgeous dusky mauve nail polish – fabulous!

2. Daria Werbowy on the cover of Harpers Bazaar

I love love love the make-up on this cover – and the way it’s shot is just so beautifully ’80s. By the way until I saw this cover I really had no idea who Daria Webowy was – she’s an Ukranian-Canadian model apparently…

3. Rihanna on the cover of Interview magazine

Oooh I love everything about this Interview cover! Love the earrings, love RiRi with red hair, love the flowers, love the lippie and love the glasses! Fab-u-lous!

4. Bonnie Wright on the cover of Haute Muse magazine

A very different look for Ginny Weasely to say the least! I love the uber-dramatic makeup and her hair looks gorgeous too!

5. Björk on the cover of AnOther magazine

Björk is always a bit bonkers, but how beautiful and serene does she look on this AnOther magazine cover? That crazy pleated collar frames her face perfectly and her makeup looks gorgeous.
