Something bad happened to me this week, I ran out of my all time favourite hair styling product – Tigi Bedhead Superstar Queen For A Day Thickening Spray. I honestly have a lot of loving for this hair product!
Anyway, whilst treating myself to a new bottle on LookFantastic something else went wrong – I found another 100 products I wanted to buy! It’s dangerous stuff this online shopping.
So to share the love here are my favourite five products that I will be treating myself to on pay day. Well it is Easter… and I deserve a little present. Don’t I?
BARE ESCENTUALS TUTORIAL KIT – GET CHEEKY – £30
I love learning tips and tricks to perfect my make up from the experts, so this really is the product for me! A little step-by-step blush kit to give you dewy and radiant skin! Sounds good huh??
The kit contains:
- Bare Escentuals Blush in Lovely – a nice rose tinted pink blush.
- Bare Escentuals All-Over Face Colour in Pure Radiance – to give you a luminous glow to your complexion
- Bare Escentuals Double-Ended Seamless Blending Brush – the tools for the job!
So often I buy a product and realise I don’t have the other products or brushes needed to really do the job… here they all are, in one cute box!
My friends think I am quite sad but I have completely got sucked into the Royal wedding hype this year! I am so excited and have even organised myself a little garden party, with champers, to make the occasion. And so you can imagine my excitement when I saw the fantastic nail polish guys, Essie, have jumped on the bandwagon with the Wedding Collection. Not only are the colours gorgeously fresh and summery they are also in cute mini bottles (leaving more room in my cupboards for future purchases!)
This Essie Mini Wedding Collection set contains
- Essie Borrowed & Blue Nail Polish – Precious yet chic – this light blue shade is for keeps.
- Essie Better Together Nail Polish – A ceremonious sweetheart pink to love and cherish.
- Essie Made To Honor Nail Polish – This flattering pink will be in your heart ‘til death do you part.
- Essie First Dance Nail Polish – Dance your way into every guest’s heart with this rich, captivating red.
JEMMA KIDD CRUSHED JEWEL CREME DUO – LOLITE – £16
Now this is quite a bright eye colour I know, but it would go PERFECTLY with a dress I have bought for an upcoming wedding (sadly not the Royal one). I have another of the Jemma Kidd Creme Duo sets in a beautiful pearl shade which I often use, and so this time I thought I would go more daring! The duo consists of a creamy shadow base and a pot of subtle shimmer which is intense in pigment. This can either be layered over the crème base or works perfectly alone as a wet or dry eyeliner!
Hands up who is a fan of the Benefit Benetint! I know I am. I love the natural pinch of pink it gives to my cheeks. I do also use it on my lips but it’s quite drying… and so I think that this Benefit Benetint lip balm is a must. Not only does it give you that beautiful berry-stained pout, but it also has the added benefit of being a lip balm – and containing SPF15!
STILA SUN BRONZING POWDER – SHADE 1 – £18
The sun is out, hurrah! But my skin looks like it’s been hidden in a cupboard for the last year (well it kind of has) and it’s looking ghostly pale! So I think it’s time to invest in a little bit light bronzing shimmer to add some life to my cheeks and give me that ‘no sun require’ glow!
