A little while ago I told you all about the new Revlon CustomEyes eyeshadow and eyeliner palettes and the lovely ladies at Revlon were kind enough to send me the CustomEyes Rich Temptations eyeshadow palette and the CustomEyes Sweet Innocence eyeshadow palette to try out!

The CustomEyes Rich Temptations palette is a gorgeous collection of green and purple eyeshadows with pale peachy and sand colours for highlighting, just lovely!

The shadows are very soft and smooth without being too powdery and have really good pigmentation – the colour on the far left is the eyeliner shade in the set and is a good rich dark purpley brown colour. On the back of each of the CustomEyes eyeshadow palettes, there is a little guide printed, suggesting how to apply the eyeshadows for a complete eye look…

So following the guide on the back of the palette, I have used the dark brown as an eyeliner, with the green eyeshadow over the lid, the purple in the crease blended out, the peach shadow on the inner corner and the sandy-taupe eyeshadow right up on my brow bone.

The shadows blended easily and created a really lovely and quite striking eye look that really suited my green eyes.

Again these shadows were lovely to apply and blended effortlessly. They are very subtle colours, but really lovely. I wore Sweet Innocence today and it’s still looking fab at the end of the day!

I’ve topped off each eye with a coat of the new Revlon CustomEyes mascara, which I will post about asap!

Revlon CustomEyes eyeshadow and eyeliner palettes are available now at Farmers and pharmacies in New Zealand and you can buy them online at Life Pharmacy for $33, I don’t think they are available in the UK yet, but as soon as they are I’ll let you know!
