So if you’re even remotely interested in nail polsih you’ll know that there is so much talk about crackle (or shatter) nail polishes at the moment! Andy Lou told you all about the Models Own Smash Up Crackle polish and I showed you my swatch of the OPI Serena Williams Black Shatter nail polish. Well now I have 3 of the new China Glaze Crackle Glaze nail polishes to show you…
All of the crackle/ shatter top coats I’ve tried so far have been black, so I was really interested to see how the coloured China Glaze Crackle Glaze nail polsihes would look on…
First up I tried the China Glaze Broken Hearted Crackle Glaze nail polish, a bright fuchsia pink crackle polish. I painted this on normally over the top of Essie Little Brown Dress nail polish.
Next up I tried China Glaze Crushed Candy Crackle Glaze nail polish, again over the top of Essie Little Brown Dress nail polish. This was the China Glaze Crackle polish I’d been most wanting to try and it was very pretty, but I was a wee bit disappointed for some reason…? I did get loads of compliments on my nails when I wore this though!
Last of all I tried China Glaze Lightening Bolt Crackle Glaze nail polish – this is a white crackle top coat and it’s just gorgeous! The white is a really fabulous summery polish. I’ve used it over the top of Nails Inc Brompton Place, a lovely pale but bright pink nail polish. Just absolutely gorgeous.
I bought my China Glaze Crackle Glaze nail polish online at Beverly Beaute and they arrived in New Zealand a week after I ordered them, but I’m not sure if they are an authorised seller or not.

New reader here but I already love your blog. Brilliant post, think my favourite is the Lightning Bolt Crackle Glaze over Brompton Place as it’s just so pretty and summery.
Me too! I love Lightening Bolt – going to try it over pale blue polish next.
love the candy crackle! it looks great with the larger and fewer cracks xx
