The DKNY Kiss…

To celebrate their new fragrance DKNY want to see your best kiss!

During February and March you can pop along to Debenhams in Cardiff, Liverpool or Birmingham to the DKNY Kiss in a Cab event, recreate a classic NYC kiss that will be captured on film by a pro photographer and uploaded to the DKNY site in a gallery of classic kisses (ooh 15 mins of fame anyone?)

For some inspiration, AndyLou and I have had a little think about iconic kisses caught on film. The first one that sprung to mind was the beach kiss from From Here to Eternity…

I haven’t even seen From Here to Eternity, but that kiss certainly is a goodie! Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr rolling around in the sand having a good old snog!

The next kiss we came up with was from Casablanca… oh classic, when Ilsa confesses to Rick that she still loves him, then they kiss passionately. Apparently this was the first lip-to-lip kiss every shown on the big screen…

One real-life iconic kiss that everybody recognises is the Sailor kissing the Nurse in Times Square on V-day at the end of WWII…

Apparently the two didn’t even know each other, were just caught up in the moment and then never saw each other again…

So all of our iconic kisses are pretty old-school! Can you think of any modern-day iconic kisses or have we all lost the knack for fabulous snogs?
