Boots No 7 Decades nail polish

Following on from my post about the Boots No 7 Decades make-up range, I’ve tried 3 of the limited collection nail polishes.

First of all Boots No 7 Decades polish in 40s Starlet Stockings – a bright red nail polish inspired by the glamour of the ’40s.

This bright red nail polish is gorgeous! It is a bright tomato red nail polish. The polish had a really good texture, it was quite thick, but not gluggy so it went on really smoothly and I only needed to use 2 coats of nail polish to get a perfect even finish.

Starlet Stockings nail polish costs £6.75, but you can get 3 for 2 on make-up and this is included – you can buy at boots.com

Next is the Boots No 7 Decades ’50’s Bobby Socks nail polish – a bright candy pink nail polish

Bobby Socks nail polish was a lovely colour – bright candy pink, but unfortunately it was let down by it’s texture – I always find it strange when nail polishes from the same range have varied texture – but this polish was a little bit too thick, which meant that it was difficult to paint on evenly and dried with a few streaks – if you don’t mind a slightly less than perfect finish, this is a really cute colour though. It’s very similar to OPI Elephantastic pink nail polish

The last one I tried was the Boots No 7 Decades ’70’s Maxi Dress nail polish – a pale pastel purple nail polish

Maxi Dress is such a cute colour and so on-trend! It’s a pale pastel purple colour and is really opaque. Similarly to the Starlet Stockings nail polish it had a good texture – it was thick enough to paint on smoothly and it dried evenly with the best opaque finish with only two coats.

There are 7 nail polishes in total in the No7 Decades collection and you can get a 3 for 2 on all of them at boots.com

The lovely ladies at Boots sent me these 3 samples and they have also sent me through some of the No 7 Decades eye shadows and some of the N0 7 Decades lip glosses as well, so I will post about them as well.
